Yakiniku literally means grilled meat in Japanese. It refers to a Japanese style barbecue in which the meat is not left to marinate before grilling, but grilled with the slightest seasoning and then dipped in a sauce upon eating. This Bansankan Yakiniku has a mildly spicy, sweet and soy flavour, making it an excellent accompaniment to quality meats, such as a beautifully marbled Wagyu steak.
